Hi,
Before going through these methods, make sure you have read the general solutions to fix Facebook errors.
If you have already tried all, then you can check the following methods:
If you DON’T have access to the app
You can contact Facebook using two options below. If none of them work, unfortunately you should wait until they fix it themself.
What you can do is to report the problem, and wait. We had many cases in which they could get access to their account automatically after some time.
If you HAVE access to the app
In some cases users report that they can’t log into their account just on the web. So, in this case, we recommend they go to the Two-Factor Authentication in their app, and remove any login info there. I mean any login history on their app.
If you have no idea how to find Two-Factor Authentication on Facebook, you can read the linked article.
#1 Contact Facebook Support
You can contact Facebook (if you didn’t) using the link they have provided. In the first place, they ask for your info, or live picture, then they review the request.
Here is the link to recover the account:

#2 Contact Facebook using Ads Manager
If you have already used Facebook ads, you must probably know that there is a support section there. Login to your Facebook ads account, or create one, if you could.
Then reach out to the support team, and explain that you are going to run ads, but you cannot log into your Facebook account.
They might have a solution for you, since they have a real human support team.
For anyone still having the issue and deleting cookies didn’t work, I figured out it was a bug due to the Two Factor Authentication. After logging in it tries to take you to the two factory 2FA page to ask for the code, instead it crashes. After thinking long and hard I went to my iPhone app which was still working, went into the security settings and 2FA settings. Deleted all Windows PC Login activation that were authorized.
I rebooted my Windows PC, and it it finally asked me for my 2FA code on my windows PC and I am in.
Hope this helps someone.
#3 Wait until they fix it
In a number of cases, we have seen that Facebook automatically fixes this issue after a couple of weeks/months. We couldn’t find any algorithm for it, or even any clear reason, but users can login when they try after a few months.
